Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to offer puja at Samaleswari temple in Odisha’s Sambalpur during his visit to the city on February 3.
According to BJP sources, the Prime Minister will visit the Samaleswari temple to offer puja besides attending a programme at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Sambalpur.
Modi is also likely to lay the foundation stones of some projects and inaugurate some others in Bargarh, Sundargarh and Balangir. He will interact with the BJP workers during the one-day visit.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit Odisha for second time next month at attend the party’s Mahila Samavesh in Bhubaneswar. The BJP has planned Mahila Samavesh in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha.
The party has planned a massive public meeting at the Samavesh as a show of strength against the ruling BJD in the state. Around 25,000 women from 14 states are likely to attend the Samavesh in the city.
