Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Bhubaneswar on April 16.
State BJP vice-president Samir Mohanty on Sunday said the Prime Minister will conduct a road show from Biju Patnaik International Airport to the venue of his meeting, the Baramunda Ground, via Ganga Nagar and OUAT Square.
He will also visit Sambalpur and address an election rally there the same day, BJP leader Dharmendra Pradhan said. Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur parliamentary constituencies will got to the polls in the third phase on April 23.
This will be Modi’s fifth election programme in Odisha. He had earlier addressed election meetings at Jeypore in Koraput district, Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi, Sonepur in Balangir district and Sundargarh.
BJP national president Amit Shah will also address two rallies at Baramba in Cuttack district and Dhenkanal on April 17, a party leader said.
