New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation on Sunday through his monthly programme Mann Ki Baat.
The 77th episode of the show, which was first aired on October 3, 2014, will be streamed live from 11 am on the PM’s official YouTube channel, as well as on PMO. It will also be broadcast on All India Radio. The live show will be immediately followed by broadcast in regional languages. The regional language versions will be repeated at 8 pm.
The nation will be eager to see if Modi dwells on the vaccination drive, which seems to have slowed down a bit due to lack of enough supply. A record 22 crore vaccine doses have so far been administered in the country, but the pace is yet to pick among the 18-45 age group in most states.
The government has often said that vaccine procurement is being ramped up internally as well as from foreign manufacturers. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar even mentioned on Friday that everyone in India will be vaccinated by the end of this year.
Indians will surely want to get that assurance from their Prime Minister.
