New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to chair an important meeting on the COVID-19 and vaccination situation in the country at 10.30 am on Saturday.
Top government officials are expected to attend the meeting. Saturday’s meeting comes in the wake of rising global concern about the B.1.1.529 strain of the coronavirus.
According to experts, the variant has over 50 mutations and could be far more virulent than the Delta variant that battered the country during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
