This will be Modi’s second tour of the state in a month as he visited Sambalpur on February 3.
Samal said the PM will first visit the pilgrim town of Puri to offer prayers at Jagannath Temple and seek the blessings of the sibling deities at the 12th century shrine.
Modi and will then proceed to Chandikhole in Jajpur district where he is slated to address a public meeting, the senior BJP leader said. However, the exact date of his visit will be finalised soon.
The Prime Minister will highlight the benefits of different Central schemes being implemented in the state. He will also tell the party workers and leaders to reach out to people by conducting door-to-door visits to apprise them of the Modi guarantee.
Modi’s second visit to the state assumes significance as it comes amid talks of alleged understanding between Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Biju Janata Dal (BJD). Congress leaders have lashed out at both the parties terming them as two sides of a coin.
