New Delhi: For the third time this year, Narendra Modi has topped the global approval rating to emerge as the most popular among 13 world leaders, including US President Joe Biden, Germany’s Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron and British PM Boris Johnson.
According to the latest polls, conducted by Morning Consult Political Intelligence, the Indian Prime Minister had a 70% approval rating.
In September, too, Modi had a similar 70% rating among adults.

“A 70% approval rating in Global Leader Approval Tracker puts PM @narendramodi Ji right on top of the list of most loved & popular world leaders. A people’s favourite due to policies of inclusive development & strong leadership during the pandemic,” Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri tweeted.
Modi’s approval had dropped earlier this year, amid the second COVID-19 pandemic.
