Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha on September 22, sources in the state BJP said on Wednesday.
While the Odisha government has not been informed about the PM’s visit, reliable sources said that the tour schedule has been finalized by the Union Civil Aviation Ministry and the Ministry of Fertilizers and Chemicals.
According to sources, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the newly constructed Jharsuguda Airport and flag off the inaugural flight between Jharsuguda and Ranchi after arriving at the airport in a special flight from New Delhi in the morning on September 22. After the inauguration, he will fly to Talcher in an Indian Air Force helicopter and lay the foundation stone of the renovation of the Fertilizer Plant and address a public meeting later.
