Bhubaneswar: As many as 28 students from Odisha will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the “Pariksha Pe Charcha, 2020” programme in New Delhi on January 20.
The 28 from Odisha are among 2,200 students selected from across the country for the interaction with the PM, HRD Minister of State Sanjay Dhotre said.
Speaking at a function at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mundali in Cuttack, the minister urged the students, faculties and parents to participate in the interactive programme and exchange their ideas and thoughts with the PM.
“Students play a pivotal role and lead all major campaigns like Khelo India, FIT India, Swachh Bharat, Ek Bharat Srestha Bharat, Say No to Plastic and Save Water propounded by the government from the front. Securing high percentage of marks is not everything in life. You have to think out of the box, think big and expand your vision to achieve success,” he told the students.
Dhotre advised the students to engross in noble thoughts, be compassionate and always think for others. “This will be helpful in repelling negative thoughts, frustration and boost morale and confidence,” he added.
Earlier, the minister had visited the National Data Centre of NIC Bhubaneswar and reviewed the progress of various projects with the senior officials.
