Bhubaneswar: In order to help the people seeking police assistance, a police aid post was opened at Kalinga Nagar in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
Police Commissioner of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack Saumendra Priyadarshi inaugurated the aid post under Bharatpur police station in Bhubaneswar urban police district.
Additional Commissioner of Police Brijesh Kumar Ray, Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh, SOA founder president Manoranjan Nayak and senior police officers were present.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Priyadarshi said the aid post will not only control crime rate in Bharatpur but also extend assistance to the victims of crimes seeking help from the police.
