Cuttack: The Mahant of an ashram in Baharabila at Tigiria in Odisha’s Cuttack district, was detained by police on Saturday allegedly for kidnapping of a woman.
According to sources, the woman was allegedly kidnapped from Bhapur area of Dhenkanal, a few days back.
On the basis of a complaint filed by the victim’s family, cops nabbed the accused Kaibalya Jani from Sutikhyana ashram in Tigiria.
The police have also seized objectionable material and photos from the ashram, sources added.
