Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police busted a looters’ gang and arrested four of its members in the city on Wednesday.
According to police sources, reliable information about the presence of the gang at a place led a special squad of the Commissionerate Police to conduct a raid and nab the looters.
The squad also seized 12 stolen gold chains weighing 80 grams and three motorcycles from their possession. The seized jewellery is estimated to be worth around Rs 4 lakh.
The sources said the gang was involved in loot of valuable goods from different places in the city.
