Rourkela: Police on Sunday arrested nine persons from Chhattisgarh, who they claimed were running an IPL betting racket in Odisha’s Steel City.
Biramitrapur police arrested the nine youths from Jamunanaki area. Police seized 18 mobile phones and tablets from them.
The accused were identified as Maleet Singh (25), Vishal Rai (18), Himansu Debangan (25), Pankaj Debangan (22), Bikash Thakur (23), Minu Singh (21), Dinesh Kumar Sahoo (28), Vikramjit Singh (19) and Jogendra Singh (22).
