Police Launch Night Blocking Drive To Nab Anti-Socials In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: As part of its “safe city” drive, the Commissionerate Police conducted a massive night blocking operation at major locations in Bhubaneswar on Saturday night.

According to release of the Commissionerate Police on Sunday, 3 platoons of police force were deployed for night blocking and enforcement activities in the city throughout the night.

The blocking drive was launched to check movement of anti-socials, criminals and transportation of contraband items in vehicles. The officers of different police stations were assigned the responsibility in their respective areas.

The drive was conducted at Jharpada Golei, Laxmisagar, Kalpana Square, Ravi Talkies square, Rupali, Rammohan square, Palaspali Chhak, Jagamara Chhak, Stewart Chhak, Nalco Chhak, Damana, Patia, Raghunathpur and Nandankanan road.
