Bhubaneswar: The vigilance sleuths conducted raids on the properties of a sub-inspector posted (SI) posted at Tomando police station in Odisha capital early on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday morning on charges of possession of disproportionate assets.
According to sources, the vigilance team led by three Deputy Superintendent of police (DSP), 11 Inspectors, six Assistant Sub-Inspector(ASI) (ASIs), and other staff conducted simultaneous raids at three places associated with SI Abhimanyu Chaudhury.
Sources further added that a heavy bag was allegedly thrown into a drain beside Chaudhury’s house near delta square around 3.30 am.
