Cuttack: Police raided a shopping mall for selling expired goods in Odisha’s Cuttack city on Thursday.

Cuttack Zone-6 ACP told the media that following a tip-off, Badambadi police station officials, led by the IIC, carried out the raid on the mall V Bazaar at Badambadi in the city. During the raid, different types of expired food items were seized.

The ACP said the team has also seized a chemical used for erasing the expiry dates and prices written on the packets of the products. The Mall owner used to remove the batch on packets before selling those.
