Cuttack: In a filmy like scene, several PCR vans gave a hot chase to stop a stolen bus from Bhubaneswar on the National Highway on Friday evening.
According to reports, a person stole the passengerless bus in Bhubaneswar and drove it towards Cuttack on NH-16. On being informed, policemen in six PCR vans chased the bus to stop it and nab the man.
The police continued the chase on the entire stretch of the NH till OMP Square in Cuttack, where the vehicle met with an accident. The police then detained the man driving the bus.
He has several cases pending in different police stations in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack and is stated to be mentally unstable. Further investigation is on.
