Police Rescue Minor Girl Of Chhattisgarh From Odisha’s Balangir

Balangir: Police rescued a minor girl, who had reportedly eloped with a youth from Chhattisgarh, in Odisha’s Balangir district.

As per reports, the minor girl had gone missing from her house some days back. After her parents came to know that she had gone away with a youth, they filed a complaint with the local police.

Following investigation, the police came to know that the girl and young boy had gone to Balangir. A police team from Chhattisgarh came to Balangir and with the help of the local police tried to trace them.

After ascertaining the place where they were staying, the police conducted a raid and rescued the minor girl on Thursday. They also arrested the youth and took both of them to Chhattisgarh.
