Police Seize Ornaments Worth Rs 1.65 Crore From Tamil Nadu Car In Odisha’s Berhampur

Berhampur: Police seized a gold and silver ornaments amounting to more than Rs 1 crore from a car and arrested three persons in the city on Saturday night.

Police stopped a car on suspect at Gosaninuagaon here. During search of the vehicle, 4 kg of gold and 235 kg of silver in ornaments and other forms were found. The cost of the seized materials was estimated to be more than Rs 1.65 crore.

Police have detained three persons travelling in the car. They were coming from Salem in Tamil Nadu, police said.
