Police Warn Media Vehicles Chasing Celebs Called For NCB Inquiry

Mumbai: The Mumbai Police on Saturday has given a stern warning to media vehicles “chasing” celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and others summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCP) for questioning.

DCP (Zone I) Sangramsingh Nishandar said, “This afternoon, we saw some mediapersons getting off their vehicles and chasing the vehicles carrying the celebrities from the rear, front and sides, posing great risk to themselves, the people in the vehicles and also the common persons. We will not tolerate this anymore.”

He also threatened to seize the media vehicles and take action against the drivers if it is repeated.

Media vehicles have been involved in chasing celebs like Rhea Chakraborty, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and several others called in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and drugs angle.
