Keonjhar: A polling official died inside the EVM dispatch room after falling ill in Keonjhar on Sunday. He was posted in booth No 149 under Anandapur Assembly segment in the district.
Abhay Kumar Sethi, a fourth-grade staff of Champua High School, complained of uneasiness inside the EVM dispatch room, following which he was rushed to a nearby hospital. But the doctors declared him brought dead.
The exact cause of death can be ascertained after receiving the post-mortem report, Keonjhar sub-collector Rabindra Sahu said.
