Bhubaneswar: Physical classes in polytechnics, technical education institutions and ITIs in Odisha will resume from Monday (August 9).
Informing this on Sunday Minister For Skill Development and Technical Education Premananda Naik said, the technical education institutions will reopen for final year students only.
Students will attend physical classes in strict adherence to COVID protocols, he added.
Use of mask and sanitiser will be mandatory on the premises of education institutions and the institution that fails to follow the COVID protocol will face stringent action, he said.
Decision on allowing physical classes of other students will be taken after assessing the situation, Naik added.
