Mumbai: Model Poonam Pandey was one among millions of devotees who gathered at the Mahakumbh to take a Shahi Snan at the holy confluence of Ganga and Yamuna.
In images shared on her social media handle, Poonam is seen wearing a black shirt with a picture of ‘Mahakal’ printed on it.
Poonam is also seen doing Suryanamaskar after the Shahi Snan.
In another picture, a devotee smears haldi and sandalwood paste on Poonam’s forehead (a ritual performed to seek the divine blessings).
Poonam made memories with boat rides, feeding birds, witnessing the evening aartis by the ghats, and dancing with other devotees.
She captioned the pictures as: “Mahakumbh… Witnessing life up close, where a 70-year-old walks barefoot for hours, where faith knows no limits. Feeling deeply for those who lost their lives, hoping they find moksh. The devotion here has left me speechless…”
