Bhopal: Popular YouTuber Abhiyuday Mishra, known as SkyLord to Free Fire players on the video-sharing social media platform, lost his life following a road accident.
Indore boy Abhiyuday has 1.49 million and 353,000 subscribers on YouTube and Instagram, respectively.
According to Dainik Bhaskar, Abhiyuday was on an ‘MP Tourism Riding Tour’ when the incident took place. A truck rammed into his bike near Sohagpur, on the Narmadapuram-Pipariya state highway, on Sunday afternoon.
The critically injured Abhiyuday was rushed to a nearby Community Health Center (CHC). But considering the serious nature of his injuries, he was shifted to Narmadapuram.
On Monday, when he was being transported to Bansal Hospital in Bhopal, Abhiyuday succumbed to his wounds – mainly on his right leg and thighs.
The ‘Riders in the wild’ journey, sponsored by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, was flagged off on September 21 from Khajuraho.
The bikers were to cover four tiger reserves and popular tourist spots like Khajuraho, Amarkantak, Panarpani and Bhopal. The event was scheduled to end on September 27, on the occasion of World Tourism Day.
But Abhiyuday did not live to see that day, and passed away a day earlier.
MP Police have registered a case against the truck driver who hit Abhiyuday.
