Porsche 911 GT2 RS Launched In India At ₹ 3.88 Crore

New Delhi: Luxury sports car maker Porsche has launched the 911 GT2 RS in India at a ex-showroom price of ₹ 3.88 crore.

This is Porsche’s most-powerful street legal 911 built till date. It has a top speed of 340 kmph and can do 0-100 kmph in just 2.8 seconds. Based on the 911 Turbo’s wide body, the 911 GT2 RS is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged, six cylinder engine which generates 686 bhp and 700 Nm of torque.

Performance being the priority, the 911 GT2 RS gets active suspension management that changes the damping at each wheel depending on the road. Power and traction at each wheel is also adjusted in real time thanks to Porsche’s torque vectoring. Cornering is taken care of by Porsche’s stability management. Ceramic carbon brakes are standard. Also aiding performance is the use of low weight carbon fibre reinforced plastics in the wheels, mirrors, hood and air intakes.

This two-seater sports car holds a record of 6:47.3 among rear wheel drives in the famous Nurburgring track.

There’s also an optional Weissach customisation package that has more additions, including more carbon fibre parts.
