Chitrakonda: Security forces averted a ‘possible’ Maoist attack with the recovery of a huge cache of explosives dumped in Kadalibandha forest in Odisha’s Malkangiri district.
The BSF jawans came across the dump during a routine combing operation in the forest. The recovery includes 5 kg tiffin bombs, 2 pressure IEDs, one Maoist uniform, wires and batteries, sources said.
The tiffin bombs and IEDs were later defused.
