Post Master Arrested Over Misappropriation Of ₹ 1 Cr

Cuttack: Bayalis Mouza Jharakata post master was arrested on charges
of misappropriating Rs 1 crore of depositors.

The accused has been identified as Narayan Das.

Narayan, who was absconding for the last three months, has been
arrested by Sadar police basing on the complaints lodged against him.

In a similar incident, vigilance sleuths arrested Kaptipada tehsildar
Sarat Chandra Mallick for taking bribe to the tune of Rs 1 lakh.

A vigilance team raided Mallick’s residence located at Udala
Mendhakhai and caught him red-handed while accepting the money from a
sand smuggler.
