New Delhi: Singer Arijit Singh apologised to his fans after postponing his UK tour due to a medical emergency. Originally slated to commence on August 11, the concert has now been postponed to September. Though he did not mention what kind of medical emergency, Singh expressed his disappointment and thanked his fans for their unwavering support.
Soon after Arijit Singh shared the post, many fans were concerned about his health. They expressed their support and shared wishes for a speedy recovery.
Reportedly, Arijit Singh was supposed to create history by becoming the first South Asian artist to perform at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena. Now, his fans will have to wait a little longer to watch him achieve the milestone.
On August 1, Singh shared an Instagram note in which he announced the new dates of his UK tour. He also stated that the tickets they bought for the August tour would remain valid.
His note read, “Dear fans, it pains me to share that unforeseen medical circumstances have forced me to postpone our August concerts. I know how eagerly you were awaiting these shows and I’m truly sorry for the disappointment. Your love and support are my strength. Let’s turn this pause into promise of an evern more magical reunion (sic).”
Singh then announced the new dates of the concert. “Thank you for your understanding, patience, and unwavering love. I can’t wait to create unforgettable memories with you all. With heartfelt apologies and endless gratitude (Sic).”
Arijit Singh has been in the news for the court case regarding the unauthorised use of his voice, image and other attributes using AI. On July 26, the court issued an interim order restraining eight platforms to stop using Singh’s attributes without consent.
