Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday said he was saddened to hear about the demise of legendary musician Prafulla Kar and offered his heartfelt condolences.
Naveen said the passing away of Kar marked the end of an era and that he will live in the hearts of people forever through his music.
Kar’s last rites will be performed at Swargadwara in Puri on Monday with full state honours. State Law Minister Pratap Jena and School & Mass Education Minister Sameer Dash will attend the funeral.
State Planning Board Deputy Chairman Sanjay Dasverma will also attend the funeral.
