Pran Pratishtha Mahotsava Held With Fanfare At Noida Jagannath Temple

Noida/New Delhi: Five-day-long Pran Pratishtha Mahotsava at Noida Jagannath Temple concluded with much pomp, spectacular splendour and massive fanfare on February 2 on the occasion of Basant Pachami.

The new temple at Sector-121 in Noida was elegantly and aesthetically decked up befitting the grand occasion. The entire ambience was agog with festive fervour with colourful decoration of flowers, cottons and lights as lakhs of devotees gathered to witness the consecration ceremony of the four deities here.

The Pran Pratishtha ritual during which the deities were placed Ratna Singhasana was solemnised by the team of priests deputed by Mukti Mandap of Puri. Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb was the chief guest on the occasion. As the Adya Sevak of Mahaprabhu, he also offered the first puja after the consecration of deities.

It was marked by a series of special religious rituals, bhajans, kirtans, cultural programmes, spiritual preachings and community gatherings.

The event also saw witnessed congregation of religious and spiritual gurus from Ayodhya, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Puri and Varanasi.

Other dignitaries who graced the five-day-long Pran Pratishtha Mahotsava included MPs Mahesh Sharma, Dr Rabindra Narayan Behera, Surender Nagar, MLA Pankaj Singh, Senior BJP leaders Shaym Jaju, Upender Singh Ravi Roshan,Dinesh Khade, Chairman of World Odisha Society Kishore Dwibedi, noted industrialists Rajesh Sahay and Brahma Mishra, Woman Leader Dr Chidatmika Khatua, spiritual Gurus Acharya Sailesh Tiwari, Sant Gautam Rishi and Delhi Minister Sanjay Gehlot .

The mega event were conducted smoothly by the office bearers and organisers of Temple’s Management Committee Sri Jagannath Samiti under the able and active stewardships of President Biswanath Tripathy, General Secretary Dr Manoranjan Mohanty, Vice President Pramod Bhal and Joint Secretary Dhaneswar Nayak.
