Prashant Kishor Not Floating Party Now; Check What He’s Up To

Patna: Prashant Kishor’s recent tweet that it was time to go to the ‘real masters’ had led to speculation that he could be launching a political front.

Especially after he turned out Congress’ offer to join the party after several parleys with the top leadership.

On Thursday, however, the election strategist announced that he will begin a 3000 km foot march from Bihar’s West Champaran on Gandhi Jayanti (October 2).

Kishor plans to meet 17,000 people from different fields in the next 3-4 months and get their views on how to take Bihar forward.

“If they decide to have a political party or organization, then we will take a call by August-September… It is going to be a collective effort,” he said, adding that he will not be the all in all if a party is formed.

He believes Bihar needs a new order and it wasn’t necessary to contest elections for this.

“I will take people who want the change and have the will to change,” said Kishor, adding that any decision on floating a party will be taken after meeting people who share the same thoughts about Jan Suraj (good governance).

He chose West Champaran as Mahatma Gandhi had launched his resistance against the British in 1917.
