Praveen Kumar Sobti, who played the role of Bheem in BR Chopra’s Mahabharat, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 74.
The actor became a household name after playing the role of Bheem in the mythological series.
Sobti was also an athlete and has won several medals for India in the Asian and Commonwealth Games. He also represented the country twice in the Olympics.
After he entered showbiz, he worked in about 30 movies before meeting BR Chopra, who offered him Mahabharat.
