Kamakshyanagar: In yet another instance of pre-poll violence, a group of students of Kamakhyanagar College in Dhenkanal district went on the rampage and ransacked the principal’s office on Wednesday.
According to reports, the agitated students damaged windows, air conditioner and furniture in the principal’s office following rejection of nomination papers of a presidential candidate.
Police later reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
Heavy police force has been deployed on the campus to prevent any untoward incident.
