Bhubaneswar: Even as Health Ministry has said that the eligible beneficiaries need not register for taking precaution dose of COVID vaccine, the BMC on Sunday said they should book online for their slots from January 10.
The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, in a release, said the eligible persons can book their slots for the vaccine on https://cowin.gov.in. They have also to produce the certificate issued them after taking the second dose at the vaccination centre.
The vaccination centres will remain open from 3 pm to 6 pm.
As per states government’s announcement, the frontline workers, healthcare workers and senior citizens, who have taken second dose of the vaccines nine months back, are eligible for the precaution dose.
On Friday, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare informed that eligible persons need not register again and can directly take an appointment or walk into any vaccination centre for the precautionary COVID vaccine dose.
