Phulbani: A pregnant minor girl was admitted to the Baliguda Community Health Centre (CHC) in Odisha’s Kandhamal district on Wednesday.
According to sources, the minor girl of Tumudibandha area had a physical relationship with a youth. When they came to know that she had conceived, the youth gave her pills for abortion on Tuesday. After taking the medicine, her condition became critical.
As the family members came to know about the incident, they admitted her to a Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Tumudibandha. She was shifted to the CHC as her condition deteriorated.
