‘E Sonu tora mo upare bharasa nai na kai…’ the song from the upcoming Durga Puja release ‘Kabula Barabula’ composed by Ollywood’s most innovative music director has taken the digital media by storm since its release.

The song has been influenced by Marathi nonsensical song ‘Sonu tuze majhyabar bharosa nahi kay’. “Though there are numerous versions of the song, no one has ever thought of a musical one. The popularity of the viral video, prompted Anubhav and me to try out a Sambalpuri rap based on it for the movie,” said Prem Anand, who is a top-notch music director of Odia cine industry.

“Through digital platform, people across the world are able to hear Odia music soon after its release,” he added.

Having scored music for more than 50 movies so far, Prem Anand, an alumnus of Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalay, has always tried something new to prove his creative talent. After the success of ‘Something Something’ in 2014, he has become the first choice of many filmmakers.

He had composed music for ‘Abhimanyu’, ‘Mr Bachelor’, ‘Agastya’, ‘Abhay’, ‘Tu Mo Love Story’, ‘Baby’, ‘Romeo Juliet’ before this theatrical release.

“Whether sad, romantic, item or philosophical, all my songs are high in melody. My music lends meaning to every word. I am grateful to the almighty for the love and affection of the listeners,” said the humble musician.

Unlike other musicians, he loves to provides technical training to young singers. Among the three puja releases, he has composed music for both ‘Kabula Barabula’ and ‘Shiva- Not Out’.
