Bhubaneswar: Special secretary, housing and urban development, Prem Kumar Jha, has been given additional charge as vice-chairman of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority.
A notification by the General Administration and Public Grievance department on Friday said this responsibility will be in addition to his own duties.
The 1993-batch IFS officer will replace Krishan Kumar, a 2002-batch IAS officer who had been holding the post since 2014.
Krishan, who is commissioner-cum-secretary, Cooperation, and special secretary, Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment, was brought back to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation and appointed as administrator on January 17 following the expiry of the civic body’s five-year term on January 16.
