As per tradition, Patara Bisoyi servitors have completed making the ‘rakhi’ that will be tied by Devi Subhadra on Lord Jagannath and Lord Balabhadra on the day of Raksha Bandhan. The servitors have made the ‘rakhi’ with ‘Basunga Patra’ supplied by the temple administration.
While the rakhi of red and yellow colour is meant for Lord Jagannath and blue and purple rakhi is for his elder brother Lord Balabhadra. The servitors have also prepared areca nuts necklaces for the deities.
