New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu arrived in New Delhi on Tuesday from London, where she was on a three-day visit to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral.
Murmu was among several heads of state and eminent dignitaries to attend the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey on Monday.
The funeral service for the Queen, who passed away at the age of 96 on September 8 after reigning for a record 70 years, was conducted by the Dean of Westminster 11 am (3.30 pm IST, Monday) onwards, with the Archbishop of Canterbury giving the Sermon and Commendation.
