Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu will embark on a trip to Odisha on Monday (March 24) to attend an official programme.
According to the official communique, Murmu will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar, at 1.30 pm. She will then fly to Nayagarh in a special IAF chopper. She is scheduled to arrive at Paltan Ground helipad at 2.10 pm and visit Nilamadhaba Temple at Kantilo at 3 pm after a brief stopover at Kantilo Guest House.
She will spend around 20 minutes at the temple.
The President will then attend the foundation day ceremony of Bharatiya Biswabasu Shabar Samaj at Kaliapalli, as the Chief Guest.
She is scheduled to depart from the venue at 4.45 pm and reach Paltan Ground helipad at 4.55 pm. She will arrive in Bhubaneswar at 5.35 pm and make a night halt at Raj Bhawan before flying back to Delhi at 9.20 am on March 25.
Prior to her Odisha visit, Murmu will be travelling to Chhattisgarh and grace the silver jubilee of the Legislative Assembly in Raipur after arriving at Swami Vivekananda Airport at 10.35 am. She will leave for Bhubaneswar from there at 12.30 pm, the Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a statement.
TRAFFIC ADVISORY FOR BHUBANESWAR
The Commissionerate Police has issued a traffic advisory in Bhubaneswar for smooth traffic flow and security during the President’s stay in the state on March 24 and 25.
There will be restrictions on specific routes for a specific time period.
March 24 (Monday): Airport Square → Hospital Square → AG Square → Left turn at Raj Bhavan Square from 5:25 pm to 6:05 pm.
March 25 (Tuesday): Raj Bhavan Square → AG Square → Right turn at Hospital Square → Airport Square from 8:50 am to 9:20 am.
