Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to embark on a three-day visit to Odisha starting July 6, sources said on Wednesday.
During this visit, Murmu is likely to participate in Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath and siblings in Puri on July 7-8. She is scheduled to attend the convocation of NISER, Bhubaneswar, on July 9, before flying back to Delhi.
The President had last visited the state from February 28 – March 2 this year and participate in various programmes across Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Ganjam, Khurda, and Sambalpur districts. She had then inaugurated a national-level seminar on tribals at Dharanidhar University in Keonjhar, graced the 53rd convocation of Utkal University in Bhubaneswar and the 25th convocation of Berhampur University at Bhanja Bihar.
