New Delhi: The Centre on Wednesday extended President’s rule in Jammu and Kashmir for another six months .
The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The move came after the governor of the state had recommended the extension of President’s rule in view of the prevailing situation in J&K. The present term of President’s rule is expiring on July 2.
