Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate of Police has issued a traffic advisory for the vehicles in Bhubaneswar during the 4-day visit of President Droupadi Murmu.
In an official notification on Monday, the Commissionerate said the restrictions on movement of the vehicles would remain in force for four days from December 3 to 6.
The Commissionerate said the advisory has been issued in view of the security concern of VIPs/VVIPs during the President’s visit. Besides, it is aimed at ensuring better regulation and free flow of traffic in the interest of general public, it added.
As per the advisory, no vehicle will be allowed to ply on the roads and its connecting lane/bylane on the date and time as mentioned below:
The Commissionerate has stated that the traffic restrictions will not be applicable for emergency vehicles (Fire and Ambulance). It has requested the people to plan their travel route according to the advisory to avoid delay.
