New Delhi: Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) on Saturday slashed the price of 19-kg LPG commercial cylinders by Rs 25.50. The price cut will come into effect immediately, news agency ANI reported.
With this latest revision, here are the new prices:
New Delhi: Rs 1,859 (New price); Rs 1,885 (Old price)
Kolkata: Rs 1,959 (New price); Rs 1,995.50 (Old price)
Mumbai: Rs 1,811.50 (New price); Rs 1,844 (Old price)
Chennai: Rs 2,009.50 (New price); Rs 2,045 (Old price)
The price of a commercial LPG cylinder was reduced by Rs 91.50 on September 1, Rs 36 on August 1 and Rs 8.5 on July 5.
The cost of LPG cylinders had dropped to Rs 2,219 in June while it was at a peak price of Rs 2,354 in May. However, there is no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders.
