Bhubaneswar: Two persons, including the prime accused, have been arrested in connection with the firing at BJD corporator’s family members in Bhubaneswar recently.
Prime accused Pravat Martha and his associate were arrested in connection with firing at corporator Sridhar Jena’s family members. Martha was a corporator candidate in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections held last year.
With this, four accused persons have so far been arrested in this incident by the police.
It may be noted here that two family members of Sridhar Jena were injured in a firing incident at Laxmisagar area on Wednesday night over an issue relating to vehicle parking.
