Bhubaneswar: State BJP on Friday confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit western Odisha on January 16.
As per the schedule, the Prime Minister, during his visit, will address a party convention in Balangir.
BJP state general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan informed that PM Modi will attend Swabhiman Samavesh of the party in Balangir and address a public rally. He will also give poll mantra to party workers during the visit.
Prior to this visit, the Prime Minister will attend a public meeting in Baripada on January 5.
On December 24, he had visited Odisha and launched a slew of projects, besides inaugurating the new campus of IIT Bhubaneswar.
