Sundargarh: A prisoner, facing murder trial, fled from Sundargarh district headquarters hospital, where he was admitted for a surgery, late on Sunday.
According to sources, Arjun Munda was admitted to the hospital on March 29 and underwent a minor operation the same day. He, however, managed to give police personnel the slip around 2 am while recuperating in the prisoners’ ward.
The district jail authorities have lodged a complaint with Sundargarh Town Police, who have launched a manhunt to nab him.
