Bhubaneswar: The Regional Transport Officer (RTO)-2 in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday slapped a fine of Rs 5,66,981 on a private bus (OD-10-F-0409) for not paying the Motor Vehicle Tax since May 2019.
Apart from this, the bus was plying from Koraput to Bhubaneswar without a valid stage carriage permit, informed the State Transport Authority (STA) in a tweet.
