Keonjhar: The officials of the Regional Transport Office (RTO) of Keonjhar district on Saturday detained a bus from West Bengal at Turumunga.
Acting on a tip-off the RTO officials intercepted the bus and detained the driver and helper who were later taken to Turumunga Police station for interrogation.
According to police, the private bus from Kolaghat in Purba Medinipur district in West Bengal was on the way to Sambalpur to pick up some people to cast their vote in the ensuing Assembly elections.
