Boudh: The owner of a private bus ‘Minar’ was fined a whooping Rs 6.72 lakh during an inspection for not possessing valid documents and violation of traffic rules in Boudh district.
The Regional Transport Office (RTO) has also fined the bus driver for not having appropriate documents under the new Motor Vehicles Act.
The MV Act aims at improving road safety and reducing fatalities caused by accidents by levying hefty penalties on traffic violations.
