Bhadrak: Protesting against plying of light motor vehicles in panchayat and block areas, the syndicate of the Bhadrak Private Bus Owners’ Association on Thursday gave a 24-hour dawn-to-dusk bandh call.
Talking to the media, the syndicate members of the Association said that the light motor vehicles plying in panchayat and blocks areas of the districts and having no route permit are picking up passengers before the scheduled arrival of the buses. As a result of which they are incurring heavy losses.
They further said that though they have taken up the matter with the regional transport authority and the district administration, no action has been taken till date.
